After All

An Acrylic Color Set

On June, 1 I went to Silom Complex to buy some tools for my painting project. I got an acrylic color set, a pack of brushes, a sketch book, pad and etc. I am gonna do the illustration again. It is what I am good at. I don’t need computer to do painting. I love to draw and paint with my hand.

My mom said she loves to see me do painting because I look happy. She’s glad to see that after all I am getting serious with it. She and Papa blessed me to get a chance to be succeed.

On June, 2 (Saturday) I got up early in the morning and had a long journey so in the evening I felt so sleepy. I had an appointment with Noom (นุ่ม) at 6.30 pm. We had dinner at Ootoya restaurant. I had 鶏の炭火焼きサラダ定食バジル風味 then we went to drink at a blues bar in Sukhumvit 26. I was drunk and went home around 1.30 am. I wondered how can I drive home.

Goodbye Izumi Sakai

It was shocking. Izumi Sakai died. She’s my all time favorite. She’s the lead vocalist in Japanese pop group ‘Zard‘ (ザード). When I started listen to Japanese pop music, she’s the best in 90’s. She passed away on May 27, 2007 at age 40 in Keio University Hospital.

Zard was also known for being mysterious. This is partially because her record label did not release too much personal information on their artists, and also because she did not make that many personal appearances. She rarely appeared on any live TV.

Rest in peace, Izumi-san.

Thai court disbands Thai Rak Thai Party

Good news indeed! A court has disbanded the political party of Thailand’s ousted prime minister, finding it guilty of legal violations during elections canceled last year in a crisis that led to a military coup. Read more here.

I like ‘Dear Mr. President’ a song by Pink featuring the Indigo Girls. It is found on Pink’s fourth album, I’m Not Dead (2006). Pink has said that the song is an open letter to the President of the United States, George W. Bush, and that it is one of the most important songs she has ever written.

I saw she sings this song live on TV and it’s very impressive.

What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?

I don’t think Mr. Ex Prime Minister deserves any song. For him the word “Get out!” is fine enough.

This is what I call Sorriness

Lately when I am at work, I like to listen to a song called นี่แหละความเสียใจ by Potato. You can click the audio player above to play this song.

Gastritis

Medicine

Last night, I had a bad stomachache. I knew, I had gastritis. It happened before. This time, I was driving. I felt so pain and I couldn’t even sit well. Breathing and speaking cause a lot of pain in my stomach.

I think I was going to die. I couldn’t drive anymore so I parked on the side of the street. I called my mom. My mom said that nobody was home so she had no car to pick me.

I didn’t want her to worry about me so I said I would try to drive to a hospital. It was like hell. I felt so pain. I arrived my home finally with 60km/h speed. My Papa and mom took me to Kasemrad Hospital.

The doctor said that I have gastritis. The reason is strain so he gave me some sleeping pills. Anyway I refused to do the injection. I hate it.

Couch Potato

Lady in the Water

I am being a couch potato this weekend. I watched 2 DVD movies and many programs on TrueVisions. I watched Material Girls on Saturday’s night. Hilary Duff played as Tanzie Marchetta. It’s about 2 wealthy sisters, both heiresses to their family’s cosmetics fortune, are given a wake-up call when a scandal and ensuing investigation strip them of their wealth. I was 100% disappointed with this movie. Terrible acting, dumb plot, unbelievably boring. I stopped it before it ends.

On Sunday, I watched Roxanne on HBO (I guess). I personally don’t like Steve Martin but this movie so perfectly showcases his talents, both physical and verbal. I was impressed with the sensitivity and deftness with which he played Cyrano de Bergerac in modern guise.

Then I watched Discovery Channel. The show was ‘Serial Killer’. It’s unbelievable that many girls want to marry with these killers. What’s wrong with these girls?

In the evening, I watched Lady In The Water with my parents. I thought it’d be spooky and creepy movie but it wasn’t. I highly enjoyed this movie. I like this memorable quote that the Lady said :

Men think they are alone in the world. That is not true. We are all connected. One act on one day can affect us all.

It’s so true . . .

Good Drink Good Friends

Asahi Beer

On May, 8 (Tuesday) after work, I went out to meet Noom, my friend at The Irish Xchange Irish Pub in Soi Convent. She and her fiance live in a condominium in Soi Saladaeng.

I have known her for 25 years. We are childhood friends. It’s good to see her again. She’s now marketing director for a company. We talked about our careers. I told her I feel lost. I am not sure if I’m good at web design. She advised me things and encouraged me.

Then we went to Suan Lum Night Bazaar to meet Gib. I returned her digital camera. Gib is my college friend. The drinking continued as soon as we got in the pub.

It’s like when I talked with Orr. She and I have been friends for 16 years. I don’t have to declare what I think, she just knows it.

It’s good to know that there’re people who know exactly how you are.

Labour Day

Quality House

Today is Labour Day, an annual holiday. I and my parents spent our time visiting 3-4 housing projects like Laddarom Elegance (Ramkhamhaeng), Parkway Chalet (Ramkhamhaeng) by Tararom and Nuntawan (Ramkhamhaeng) by Land and Houses.

It’s been raining all day. I hate it when my car was dirty so I washed my car. I don’t care even it’s raining.

Then I had dinner with my parents. We talked about things. I told them how I feel bored being a web designer. I hope this feeling goes away soon.

Why Block YouTube?

To disagree with blocking the entire site of YouTube is making me not love my King? I think you’re wrong. I found out this very good article click here to read ,it’s exactly like what I think and also this one.

Foreigners mostly don’t understand our love to our King because they don’t have any King like we have. I like many comments that posted to the video.

Ignorance won’t take you far my friend. The king does not give out rice, but with his own determination he has structured the country’s farmland, educated people, built bridges and several projects, that’s why the world hails him as the developmental King…educate yourself…you will never see a more sacrificing King and that’s why people love in.. nothing to do with birthright… i’m a foreigner who lived in thailand and I respect the King for that

Not like what you know. Every society need the regulation to protect. Thai won’t do/say anything bad to the Royalty because Culture/Tradition/Spiritual inside. Just like to Jesus/Mohammad/GrandFather/GrandMother.The Technology is gone so far, We can’t control young un-educated person from doing crazy behavior. So purpose of every law is for that. The swiss man did it obviously on the King’s birthday. But He will never go to the real jail. If you come to Thailand, you will know.

convelescingangel
this is pathetic. At least learn about the country you are insulting before you post disgusting things like this. if you have an opinion than state in a polite intelligent way instead something childish like this. This isn’t funny, it just shows that you are ignorant of the world, other customs, and cultures.

I know there’re many sites like YouTube to post and view videos but that’s not the point. It’s the way we fight for someone we love.
